Are all locations closed?

All locations are closed until further notice.

If my club is closed, how will I find out when it plans to reopen?

We will keep you informed via email and let you know when your club is ready to reopen. You can also check your local club page on www.PlanetFitness.com/gyms or your club’s Facebook page for updates.

How do I cancel or freeze my account if my club is currently closed?

We have proactively frozen all memberships on your behalf, and you will not be charged any fees during this time. We will be ready to serve you in a clean, sanitary, and welcoming environment when we reopen. At that time, if you have any questions about your membership, please feel free to come in, talk to us about it, and we will be happy to address any needs you may have.

My club is closed and they charged me. Will I be refunded for this month?

Unfortunately the timing of mandates and closures lead to some of our members being billed shortly before we closed. Rest assured that you will not be charged for any days when the club was closed. We will make an adjustment on your next billing cycle when we reopen.

What if I pre-paid my membership for a year?

If you have a prepaid membership, the expiration date of your membership will be adjusted by the number of closed days. For example, if we are closed 30 days and your membership was set to end on or about November 30, that membership will be extended to on or about December 30.

Does Planet Fitness offer any digital workout content I can use while my club is temporarily closed?

Physical and mental health is extremely important, especially during uncertain times. While our clubs are temporarily closed, we are bringing the best of the Judgement Free Zone® to you. Visit our Planet Fitness Facebook Page as we are hosting "Home Work-Ins" - a series of free fitness classes for everyone - that will be streamed live daily Monday – Friday at 7 p.m. ET hosted by our trainers and surprise celebrity guests!  For anyone who can’t participate live, each workout will also be available to view on both the Planet Fitness Facebook page and YouTube channel after the broadcast is over. There is no equipment needed and all classes will be 20 minutes or less. United We Move!

Also we encourage you to download the Planet Fitness app which includes access to fitness content and more than 500 exercises that can be done at home!
